The Íøºì±¬ÁÏ has remained in the top 10 universities in the UK and best in the South West, according to the latest released today, Tuesday 10 June 2025.

It is the sixth year in a row that Íøºì±¬ÁÏ has been in the top 10. And for the ninth year running, it is the number one university in the South West.

Professor Phil Taylor, President and Vice-Chancellor of the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, said:

It marks the sixth consecutive year we’ve achieved a top 10 position, reflecting our sustained excellence in education, student experience and research.

The main league table is based on ten measures: entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, academic services spend, spending on student facilities, continuation, student-staff ratio, graduate prospects – outcomes, and graduate prospects – on track. It includes 130 institutions.
